Nasarawa Governor Presents N382.57 Billion Budget Proposal for 2025

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, on Friday presented the 2025 budget proposal of N382.57 billion to the State House of Assembly in Lafia for approval.

The budget, titled “Budget of Economic Growth and Stability,” focuses on education, infrastructure, health, agriculture, security, and technology.

Governor Sule emphasized that the budget aims to consolidate achievements in education, health, agriculture, infrastructure, peace, and security.

He also announced the government’s readiness to implement a new minimum wage, stating, “Adequate provision has been made in this budget to cater to the new minimum wage.”

The governor added that the report from the Minimum Wage Committee, chaired by the Deputy Governor, is awaited, and its recommendations would be swiftly implemented.

Governor Sule called on the Assembly to approve the budget, expressing confidence that it would drive economic stability and growth in the state.
