President Bola Tinubu is back in Nigeria after co-chairing the 11th session of the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission with President Cyril Ramaphosa in South Africa.
President Tinubu arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 9:10 pm.
He was welcomed by Minister of FCT Nyesom Wike, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu.
Other dignitaries present included APC national chairman Abdullahi Ganduje and Commissioner of Police FCT Peter Opara.
The 11th session of the BNC featured discussions across eight working groups, focusing on areas like politics, banking, and trade.
These working groups explored specific areas of mutual interest, including defence, manufacturing, and social sector development.
At the meeting, officials from both countries signed several Memoranda of Understanding and agreements.
The Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission was established in 1999 to strengthen ties between the two nations.
