Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike has declared he is impervious to criticism, focusing solely on his task of developing the FCT.

Speaking on Friday at the flag-off of the design, construction, and furnishing of the Body of Benchers office annex in Abuja, Wike emphasized the resilience required in politics.

“As a politician, you must have thick skin. I don’t even hear what people say. I don’t even see those who are saying it, and I can’t reply,” Wike said.

He highlighted three attributes he believes every politician should possess: the ability to neither see, talk, nor hear criticism, allowing them to remain focused on their goals.

Wike’s remarks come amid ongoing scrutiny of his policies and leadership as FCT Minister.
