- Senator Abba Moro emphasized that overcoming Nigeria’s challenges requires divine favor, highlighting the importance of faith in difficult times
- At a book launch, Moro stressed that without God’s favor, enduring Nigeria’s current hurdles becomes increasingly difficult for its citizens
Senator Abba Moro, representing Benue South Senatorial District, has stated that Nigeria’s current challenges can only be overcome in God’s favour.
Moro’s remarks were delivered on Saturday in Makurdi by his wife, Lucy, at the launch of three books authored by Evangelist Lydia Idoko, founder of Faith Women Fellowship (FWF).
“Without God’s favour, we cannot endure the challenges facing Nigeria today. Only through divine favour can these hurdles be surmounted,” the senator emphasized.
He pointed to the title of one of the books, Favoured by God Almighty, as a reminder of the importance of seeking divine intervention to ease the nation’s economic difficulties.
Evangelist Idoko, the author of the newly launched books, highlighted their central themes during the event. She explained that the three titles—Breaking Hidden Curses Vol. I, Words on Marbles, and Favoured by God Almighty—were written to inspire hope, instil a reverence for God, and deepen readers’ understanding of the supernatural power of faith.
Idoko further elaborated on Favoured by God Almighty, noting that it explores God’s unconditional love and favour. The book encourages readers to embrace obedience to God’s word as a pathway to enjoying divine blessings and achieving their life’s purpose.
The event underscored the need for spiritual resilience in navigating Nigeria’s current economic and social challenges, with a shared belief in the transformative power of faith and God’s favour.
