President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed eight new permanent secretaries to fill existing and upcoming vacancies in the Federal Civil Service across various states and geopolitical zones.
This marks the second set of permanent secretaries appointed by President Tinubu, following the earlier appointments in June, which covered Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara, South East, and South-South zones.
The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation recommended the appointments after a thorough selection process.
This was disclosed in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
The newly appointed permanent secretaries are:
- Onwusoro Maduka Ihemelandu (Abia State)
- Ndiomu Ebiogeh Philip (Bayelsa State)
- Anuma Ogbonnaya Nlia (Ebonyi State)
- Ogbodo Chinasa Nnam (Enugu State)
- Kalba Danjuma Usman (Gombe State)
- Usman Salihu Aminu (Kebbi State)
- Oyekunle Patience Nwakuso (Rivers State)
- Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna State)
President Tinubu urged the appointees to exhibit high commitment, diligence, and innovation in carrying out their duties for the nation’s progress.
