Teenager Abducted in Anambra Found in Kogi State

A 15-year-old boy, Chibuike Onyebuchi, who was allegedly kidnapped in Onitsha, Anambra State, has been found in Kogi State, police have confirmed.

The victim, from Ihiala Local Government Area, claimed he was abducted by unknown persons and taken to an unknown location before escaping. He was found in Kogi State and taken to a police station by good Samaritans.

According to the Anambra State Police Command, Chibuike is currently in the safe custody of the Kogi State Police Command.

The police are now working to reunite the boy with his family and have called on the public for assistance. The Anambra State Police Command spokesman, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, appealed to residents of Onitsha and Ihiala environs to help identify the boy and reunite him with his family.

The police are urging anyone with information about Chibuike’s family to come forward.
