Five secondary school students in Oyo State, Nigeria, have admitted to allegedly assaulting and raping female students from another school.
The students, aged between 16 and 17, were arrested by the Amotekun Corps, Oyo State Command, after authorities received information about the incident.
According to reports, the male students lured the female victims to their school farm under false pretences, claiming other students were gathered there.
The incident occurred on December 5, when the female students visited the boys’ school.
Two of the accused, Seun and Sunday, are half-brothers, sharing the same mother but different fathers.
The case has been transferred to the Oyo State command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps for further investigation.
The authorities have not released the full names of the accused, citing their status as minors.
