Five wedding guest who were abducted in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara state Kwara State have regained their freedom.
They were abducted at Obbo-Ayegunle by gunmen last Saturday on their way to Odo-Owa community from Kogi State.
The kidnappers had demanded N100m ransom for the release of the victims.
However, the victims were rescued on Tuesday by Local hunters and vigilantes
According to DAILY POST, the Chairman of Oke-Ero Local Government Area, has visited the victims in the hospital where they are receiving medical treatment.
Aside from the five abductees, eight other captives were also rescued by the hunters and vigilantes, according to unconfirmed reports.
The spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Ejire Adeyemi Toun has not issued a statement on the development.
