  • Pastor Enoch Adeboye acknowledged an AI-generated image depicting him as an Alhaji, addressing its circulation during the first Holy Ghost Night of 2025
  • The image, which surfaced online late last year, showed Adeboye in Islamic attire performing Hajj rituals, prompting discussions among followers

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has reacted to an AI-generated image showing him as an Alhaji.

The term “Alhaji” refers to a man who has completed the Hajj, a holy pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

The image, which surfaced online late last year, depicted Adeboye dressed in Islamic attire and performing Hajj rituals in Mecca.

During the first Holy Ghost Night of 2025 in the early hours of Saturday, Adeboye acknowledged the viral image. “I’m sure many of you saw that picture showing me as an Alhaji,” he said.
