- It was gathered that after killing the children, they dumped their corpses in a parked Mercedes Benz car in the compound before leaving the vicinity.
The Anambra State Police Command has launched a manhunt for the killers of three children of a native doctor in Nise community.
The murderers scaled the fence, gained entry, and killed the children, then dumped their corpses in a parked Mercedes Benz car.
The police spokesman, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the incident, stating it occurred late Saturday and was reported Sunday.
The reason for the killing is unclear, but sources claim it may be linked to a business dispute between the father and unknown individuals.
A source said, “The three young boys, aged between six and two years, were murdered in cold blood, with their mouths tied and bodies found in pools of blood.”
“The children were found dumped inside their father’s car, parked within the compound. Their father, a native doctor and businessman, had been having issues with some individuals.”
Ikenga said police operatives visited the scene, evacuated the corpses, and launched a manhunt based on information gathered from residents.
Ikenga stated, “We got a report about the killing of three siblings, and we have taken over the scene, interacting with those around the scene.”
“We are trying to unravel the circumstances behind the killing, whether due to negligence or the suspect’s motive, and will make the report public upon concluding our investigation.”
