Sunday Igboho reacts to rumour of his death

Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, aka Igboho, has debunked rumour claiming he has passed away.

Igboho described reports circulating on social media of his death as “false and misleading” and an attempt to sabotage the ongoing self-determination struggle.

The freedom fighter said the social media post, which was shared on the Seyi Tinubu Youth Battalion Facebook page, claimed further that details of his (Igboho’s) supposed death would be disclosed soon.

in a statement through his spokesman, Olayomi Koiki. the Yoruba Nation leader is said to be in good health and currently spending time with his family, adding that the rumour was aimed at destroying the reputation of Igboho

“We want to assure the general public and supporters of the Yoruba Nation movement that Dr. Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho is alive, well, and in high spirits.

“There is no truth to the rumors being spread by certain individuals and groups trying to mislead the public. This is a deliberate attempt to tarnish his image and derail the ongoing self-determination struggle.

“Let it be known that our mission for the self-determination of the Yoruba people remains strong and unshaken. We call on our supporters to remain vigilant and focused on our collective goal,” he said
