President Bola Tinubu stated on Saturday that his administration has made significant strides over the past 20 months.

In a post on his official X account (@officialABAT), Tinubu highlighted his message to the joint session of the National Assembly during the presentation of the 2025 budget.

He emphasized the government’s efforts to build a nation where every citizen can “dream, work, and thrive in safety.”

The budget, titled “Budget of Restoration: Securing Peace, Rebuilding Prosperity,” aims to promote growth and development across the country.

President Tinubu wrote:

We have to move forward, not as individuals but as one united nation, determined to rewrite our story for the generations to come. The time for lamentation is over. This is a time to act. A time to support and promote greater investment in the private sector.

He urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and look forward to a brighter future, stating:

A time for every Nigerian to look hopefully towards a brighter future because a new day has dawned for us as a nation. Together, we have embarked on a journey of transformation and reform, and while the road has not been easy, the progress we have made is undeniable.
