Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has dissolved the State Executive Council (SEC) with immediate effect.
The announcement was made in a statement issued on Wednesday by the governor’s spokesperson, Mr. Ebenezer Adeniyan, in Akure.
According to the statement, affected cabinet members were directed to hand over all government property in their possession to the accounting officers of their respective ministries.
However, two commissioners were exempted from the dissolution due to the essential nature of their duties:

- Commissioner for Finance – Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac
“Governor Aiyedatiwa extends his gratitude to the EXCO members for their service and contributions to Ondo State’s development under his administration and wishes them success in their future endeavors,” the statement read.
