Gov Ododo asks NARSDA’s support to improve security in Kogi state

The Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo has requested the National Space Research and Development Agency’s (NASRDA) support for his administration’s security and agricultural initiatives.

Governor Ododo made this plea during a meeting with NASRDA Director General Mathew Adepoju, according to Ismail lsah, the governor’s spokesperson.

The governor also sought NASRDA’s assistance in implementing land reforms and developing critical sectors using space technology and innovative capabilities.

“The Kogi state governor, accompanied by senior government officials, assured everyone that the state government is committed to partnering with NASRDA to enhance the state’s Geographic Information System, facilitate land reforms, promote agriculture and food sufficiency, security of lives and property, and other critical sectors of the state’s economy,” he said.

Governor Ododo called for collaboration with NASRDA, as outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding signed last year, to boost development in critical sectors.

Adepoju praised Governor Ododo’s remarkable infrastructural growth and achievements in Kogi State during his first year in office.

The NASRDA Director General also commended Governor Ododo for utilizing space technology to enhance security and drive economic growth in Kogi State.
