Three students of the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure, FECA, Ondo State, have been abducted by kidnappers
The students were abducted on Saturday evening while returning from a farm located in Oke Oge, Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The students were undergoing their Industrial Training, IT, at the farm not far from the Akure Airport.
The kidnappers also abducted a farmer and a labourer near the farm.
Meanwhile, the abductors have reportedly contacted one of the victims’ families, demanding a ransom of N15 million.
Confirming the incident, the Commander of Amotekun in the state, Adetunji Adeleye, stated that his men had been deployed to rescue the victims.
“I can confirm to you that we are on top of the situation. They were kidnapped while returning from the farm. Our men have been deployed to rescue them from the kidnappers’ den,” he said.
