Twenty three persons have been confirmed dead in fatal auto crash involving a trailer in Kano State.

The Public Relations Officer of Sector Command, Abdullahi Labaran confirmed the development in a statement he released on Friday.
He said the total number of people who have died from the accident now stands at 23 while the injured victims were 48.
Recall that initially, the number of deaths was pegged at 16 while the injured were 52.
He said the injured victims were currently receiving medical attention at the Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital, Kano.
According to him, the obstruction caused by the accident has been cleared, and the free flow of traffic has been restored
