A passenger aboard an Air Peace flight from Lagos to Port Harcourt was apprehended for allegedly stealing during the journey.
Upon arrival at Port Harcourt International Airport on February 19, 2025, the suspect was found with the stolen items and handed over to airport police for further investigation.
In response to a rise in in-flight thefts, Air Peace has implemented enhanced surveillance measures.
Cabin crew have been instructed to increase vigilance, and additional in-flight announcements will advise passengers on securing their belongings and reporting suspicious activities.
The airline has also blacklisted the suspect, reinforcing its zero-tolerance policy toward misconduct that compromises passenger safety and comfort.
