- Guardiola did not shy away from announcing past achievements of his team ahead of Sunday’s trip to current table toppers Liverpool.
Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said no team will match or break his record of winning four consecutive EPL titles.
He also asserted that no team will garner 100 points in his “lifetime”.
Guardiola did not shy away from announcing past achievements of his team ahead of Sunday’s trip to current table toppers Liverpool.
The champions have struggled this season after winning the title for four years in row.
Their only realistic chance of winning any silverware is in the FA Cup, after they were dumped out of the Champions League by Real Madrid this week.
But speaking with Neil Warnock on Sky Sports, Guardiola said: “No one is going to win [with] 100 points, and four-in-a-row in the Premier League.
“It’s not going to happen in my lifetime, I’m sorry!”
City’s 100-point tally from 2017-18 is yet to be matched in the division.
But it appears Liverpool will end their stranglehold on the league crown this season
