  • INEC’s released list includes APC, PDP, APP, LP, and 15 other registered political parties.
  • RSIEC reaffirmed its dedication to a smooth electoral process while preparing for the August elections.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published the revised voter register for Rivers State, alongside Nigeria’s list of recognised political parties, in preparation for the upcoming Local Government Council elections.

In an official document dated March 13, 2025, and endorsed by the Administrative Secretary, Odor Napoleon Emezuiruke, INEC formally informed the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) about the publication.

The correspondence, sent to the RSIEC Chairman, verified that a digital version of the voter register had been supplied in reply to the commission’s request.

As a response to this update, RSIEC issued a statement to the public, confirming that the latest voter register had been obtained from INEC Headquarters.
