Senator Shehu Sani, who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial district in the National Assembly, has warned that bandits will take over power in Nigeria as Taliban forces installed themselves in Afghanistan.

The human right activist stated this via his Twitter page while reacting to reports that bandits now collect Valued Added Tax (VAT) from farmers in the North-West states of the country.

There have been claims by some Northerners that bandits now collect VAT from farmers and install imams in some communities.

WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that  police authority has, however, dismissed claims that bandits installed new heads in communities.
