Amidst the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Cameroon legend, Roger Milla has given his judgement on captain, Vincent Aboubakar,

Aboubakar has been tipped by Milla to become one of the greatest African footballers the continent has ever produced.

Aboubakar is one of the standout performers at the 2021 AFCON, scoring six goals so far in the tournament.

“Aboubakar could be one of the greatest African footballers,” Milla was quoted by BBC Sport Africa as saying.

“Unfortunately, two years ago he suffered a very serious injury which sidelined him for four months.

“I am very happy for him because he came into the AFCON in good form. When he is playing, it is as if the whole country wants to make up for lost time and they want him to win.”

Meanwhile, Aboubakar was unable to save Cameroon as they lost against Egypt in the semi-final tie on Thursday.

The Indomitable Lions will now face Burkina Faso in the third-place final on Saturday.
