The Kaduna State Government officially declares a 24-hour curfew in the Sabon Garin Nassarawa-Tirkaniya area of Chikun LGA.
This decision was made in response to a breakdown of law and order that resulted in the deaths of two civilians in an incidence of urban gang violence.
Security services have been asked to enforce the curfew in the mentioned location in order to restore order while investigations continue. Residents are advised to firmly enforce the curfew in this locality, which goes into effect immediately.
A statement signed by the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan said further updates will be communicated accordingly.
