  • Men of the Lagos Fire and Rescue Service are being awaited for further emergency operation to salvage the situation.
  • It was not also clear if there are other causalities, as rescue operation by first emergency responders is on-going

Tuesday saw chaos break out in the Oba Akran, Ikeja region of Lagos State after an unidentified helicopter collided with a building and burst into flames.

On Oba Akran Street in Ikeja, the administrative centre of Lagos State, the incident took place next to the AP Filling Station and United Bank for Africa.

The event took place around 3.30 pm, according to an eyewitness. The survival of the helicopter pilots remained unknown at the time of this publication.

Additionally, it was unclear if there were any additional fatalities because first responders were still engaged in ongoing rescue operations.

The Lagos Fire and Rescue Service was being awaited for further emergency operations to salvage the situation.
