The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), has called upon the judiciary and legislature to reject any endeavours to obstruct the government.

Speaking at the hybrid refresher course for judges and Khadis in Abuja, titled “Strengthening the Synergy Between the Executive, Legislature, and Judiciary Under the Rule of Law – Executive Perspective,” Fagbemi emphasized the importance of upholding the rule of law.

Under the chairmanship of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Olukayode Ariwoola, the event occurred at the National Judicial Institute (NJI) in Abuja.

Fagbemi, through his media aide, Kamarudeen Ogundele, criticized instances where private individuals attempted to derail government procurement processes or other governmental procedures by seeking spurious injunctions through the courts.
