The accident involved three vehicles: a commercial bus, a taxi, and a private SUV, all of which were severely damaged.

The crash was caused by the brake failure of a Mack truck, which lost control and rammed into the other vehicles.

The injured victims received medical attention at a nearby hospital, while the deceased were handed over to the police.

The affected vehicles were also taken to the Irepodun Police Station for further investigation.

Mayowa Odewo emphasized the importance of road safety, noting that no victims were saved by seat belts or other safety measures.

He urged drivers to always follow traffic rules and regulations to prevent avoidable accidents.
