Man reportedly killed by bandits in Zamfara while protecting newly wed wife from being raped on wedding night

A yet to be identified man was reportedly killed by unknown men suspected to be bandits in Zamfara while trying to stop them from raping his newly wedded wife on their wedding night.

WITHIN NIGERIA gathered that the incident happened in Gwashi town, Bukkuyum Local Government Area in Zamfara State.

Facebook user, Yusuf Anka shared on Tuesday, March 16, posted photos from the funeral of the young man.

“The remains of a newly wedded Young man being laid to rest in Gwashi, He was killed by bandits while protecting his newly weded wife from being raped by the Bandits on her first day in her matrimonial home” he wrote.
