It is not a new thing for a man who loves his wife to apologise to her on social media, as we also have some prominent Nigerian celebrities that have taken advantage of their huge social media fan base to save their failing marriages.

When it comes to marital issues, Tuface Idibia has always been in the centre of controversies. In February 2019, pop star, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2baba, apologised to his wife, Annie, for unspecified reasons in a thread on Twitter.
The 43-year-old music singer later deleted the tweets.
In one of the tweets, he wrote, “I’m sorry to say that I have fucked up so much. I have fucked up as a role model as a father and as a husband. Annie, I’m sorry. I know you tried your best.”

A video of veteran Nigerian singer, Abolare Alexander Akande, popularly known as 9ice was seen on social media apologising to his wife Olasunkanmi Ajala after cheating on her with an unknown lady.
The singer was a topic of discussion on social media when a video of him fondling a lady that was not his wife surfaced online sometime in the year 2020.
Reacting to the viral content, the singer, on November 21, 2020, implored fans to beg his wife for his ‘shameful’ act. He uploaded a video of himself pleading with fans to beg his wife for forgiveness and added the caption, “Save a sinking vessel.”
‘‘I have done something so shameful, so terrible that it is costing me, my family. That 9ice you see and like is because I have a wife, a background. I apologise for what I did and I need you all to help me beg my wife to forgive me.”, he said.
Today, the couple is together, and their union is also blessed with beautiful kids.
Ajeboh Kris Lawrence
Ajeboh Krislawrence popularly called AJ-money, and husband to Big Brother Naija housemate, Tega, disclosed via his Instagram page that he cheated on his wife, as he also apologised to her. He said this after Tega told BBNaija Housemates, Boma, and Liquorose that she is not scared of moving on if her marriage ends after the show, also after Tega was criticised on social media for being sexually involved with a male housemate, Boma.

Sammie Okposo
Popular gospel artiste, Sammie Okposo completes this list as the most recent male celeb to apologise for cheating on his wife. On Tuesday, January 25th 2022, he tendered a public apology to his wife, Ozioma, and his fans for cheating on his wife whom he married almost 12 years ago.
The gospel artist known for his popular song Wellu Wellu, took to his Instagram account to reveal that he was involved in an intimate relationship with another woman when he travelled to the United States last year. This revelation came barely 24 hours after an American-based woman, identified as African Doll, accused the singer of impregnating her and blocked her from all his social media handles.
He has deleted the apology post from his verified Instagram page after the video of his alleged side chick went viral.
